Key to our company development is our ability to move with the times. Consumer habits have changed a lot since 1999, and so have we.
Firm financial footing has always been fundamental to our success and delivering excellent work has been our main objective. These principles have stood us well and given us the platform from which to continue evolving.
We started out as a small two man and a lady operation back in 1999, running the business out of a small office location in the outskirts of Nottingham. Quickly outgrowing the office, we purchased a residential location in Mapperley Park, Nottingham, which was converted into a superb web design company office. In 2007, we relocated into Nottingham town centre again due to company expansion and continued business growth.
In 2006, we recognised the importance of developing our own web content management software (CMS) to build client web design solutions. This lead to the evolution of River CMS, our highly advanced web content management system. This propelled our speed of delivery, allowed for highly complex sharing of web functionality developments and it gave us the ability to centrally maintain and upgrade client websites on an ongoing basis.
Also in 2006, we recognised the importance of having our own first-class web hosting facility to provide maximum security and resilience for client websites. London Docklands was our preferred location and a large investment was made in server technology.
The resulting setup has given us the ability to offer clients a complete solution from: web design, functionality development/customisation, systems integration, secure web hosting and ongoing website upgrades and maintenance – all this without having to rely on outsourcing any services.
