e-days is a star ‘software as a service’ (SaaS) product, and is used in more than 60 countries worldwide by a varied client base across: banking, insurance, legal, entertainment, media, and many more. It has reached a stage in its product lifecycle where it has the opportunity to grow substantially using well structured, defined and measurable sales and marketing strategies.
Until now, incoming sales enquiries have mainly been generated via the www.e-days.co.uk website. Using this method alone, sales have grown by more than 250% over the last 18 months. We believe this to be only the tip of the iceberg, and with the right person on board the potential for e-days growth is vast.
We're looking for someone with the following attributes:
• Proven sales experience (software sales experience preferred).
• Business development and sector development experience.
• Highly developed client facing abilities.
• Self motivated, high-energy characteristics.
• Well structured and organized.
• Quick learner and intelligent thinker.
• Ability to work in a small team.
The job responsibilities include:
• Major responsibility for the e-days product, reporting to the Sales Director.
• Generating leads and responding to sales enquiries ensuring high enquiry-to-sales conversion rates.
• Demonstrating the e-days system to potential clients via online screen-share demonstrations.
• Market segmentation and direct sector-specific marketing campaigns.
• Skilful use of a blend of different marketing communications on a restricted budget.
• Management of a small technical support team for system setups and support.
• Logging and reporting of all sales activity via our CRM system.
• Account management and expansion of existing e-days customer base.
• Leadership of proposal writing and pitch meetings for large customer opportunities.
• Investigation and development of e-days reseller opportunities.
The position is based in central Nottingham and there will be a requirement for occasional travel to client sites when necessary.
