Official Honoree in the 2013 Webby Awards

We’ve recently been recognised in the 17th Annual Webby Awards, the leading international award honouring excellence on the Internet.

The Webby Awards, hailed by The New York Times as the "Internet's highest honour" and  presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), have praised Senior for the production of The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) website, which has been selected, for a second year, as an Official Honouree in the Associations category.

The Official Honouree distinction, recognises exceptionally high quality work and is only presented to the top 10% of the 11,000+ entries submitted. Regarded as one of the highest accolades in the digital industry, such recognition further reinforces Senior’s standing as an industry leader in digital production.

The IPA, the professional body for advertising, media and marketing communications agencies in the UK, comprises of more than 300 of the UK’s brightest and best agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, Bray Leino, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and LBi. The IPA web portal, which is fully mobile optimised, offers a host of subscriber and non-subscriber interactive content to more than 70,000 registered users.

"Honouree’s like the IPA are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet," said David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. "It is an incredible achievement to be recognised among the leading Association websites in the digital world”.

Pete Senior, Managing Director at Senior said, “We have a great track record, particularly within the membership and association sector and to be recognised by the Webby Awards again is an outstanding accomplishment. As a full-service digital agency we manage the complete digital process from concept to implementation and this award demonstrates the exceptional quality of services we’re able to offer our clients.”

Having previously been selected as an Official Honoree in the 2010 Webby Awards, this recent accomplishment demonstrates the continued success of the company as we establish ourselves as one of the UK’s leading digital creative agencies.

Jon Egley, eBusiness Club Manager with Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce said, “This is a fantastic achievement that showcases the exceptional quality of web services that are available across our region. Digital agencies operate in an extremely competitive environment, so it’s great to see a Nottingham-based business competing with some of the best in the world”.

The 17th Annual Webby Award Winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 30 during this year’s award ceremony held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on May 21st.
