The Challenge
Payzone is a key player in the payment acceptance market.
They offer payment solutions in mobile top-ups, energy prepayment, card
acceptance and much more.
After recently designing their Card Acceptance website,
Payzone required a modernised main website that would build brand awareness and
appeal through promotion of their services. Thus, the site needed to
differentiate itself from its competitors through strong branding.
These
services would be clearly targeted towards Payzone’s two target audiences: the
consumer and the retailer market. The distinction needed to be clear to ensure their
offering appealed to both sides.
Another
desired attribute of the new site was to provide useful information and features
for their existing customers.
The Approach
We
began by consulting with the Payzone team and performing a full audit, which
enabled us to identify key requirements relevant to the construction of the new
site.
River
CMS, used to build and manage a majority of Senior-built sites, was selected as
the most suitable solution. The advanced, flexible and easy-to-use web content
management system offers the functionality and capability to fulfil the client’s
requirements.
The
site takes advantage of several of the features and functionality available on
the CMS. Some of the slick features utilised include the news ticker, RSS
enabled news and a very smart bespoke feature: the store locator. The
sophisticated store locator enables consumers to search for their closest
Payzone outlets by specifying the service they require.
The Result
The
new modern, feature-rich site successfully promotes Payzone’s offering to its
target audiences. By having dedicated areas of the site for both the ‘Consumer’
and ‘Retailer’ market, this provides a clear distinction between and thus
appeals to both markets.
A
clean, engaging and modern design, coupled with intuitive navigational quality
has resulted in a user-centric web solution for our client. Powerful usage of
Payzone corporate branding was a requirement clearly fulfilled, achieving
greater differentiation from its competitors.
Analytics
of the site indicate an immediate improvement since the new site went live.
There has been a noticeable increase in visitors to this site in comparison to
the previous – this is fantastic to notice at such an early stage.
