Who are Waystone?
Waystone Limited is a construction and property development specialist in the Midlands and Yorkshire. It was formed in 1990 to expand the property,
construction, development and land reclamation activities of the C.P.
Holdings Group.

The Challenge
Waystone required an attractive site that would showcase details and
images of their building projects.
They also required centralised information on these building projects to be
distributed to multiple pages within the site.
The Approach
Waystone was the first site to use River CMS and took full
advantage of the flex module. This allows the site to showcase building
projects to the standards required and allows them to be used on multiple pages
from one centralised source. The news module also allows for an easily
updatable news section that can be archived.
River CMS implements a three level navigation system so that the structure
of the site is easy for users to get around and find the information they want.
The Results
The result is an aesthetically-pleasing site that is easily
navigable due to a well-structured navigation system.
A huge amount of information is available on the site that is all well laid out
and easy on the eye, ensuring a smooth
experience for the user whilst browsing.
The site is also very multimedia based, with lots of images
and video callouts throughout the site, adding further interest for the user.
It also contains a database, ‘Buildings Manager’, where any number of Design
and Build or Civil Engineering case studies can be added. Each case study
comprises of a range of images, a description, location, completion date, value
and other relevant information. They are displayed in a number of areas within
the site, all managed through the highly flexible River CMS.
Due to using River CMS, Waystone are able to fully content manage their site;
thus they can update and amend, as and when is necessary for convenience.
