The Challenge
The major challenge of this project was to develop a website that
would appeal to a new domestic audience for new groundwater systems
without compromising the core commercial market of the products. To site
also had to differentiate Stormsaver as the pioneers and innovators in
the groundwater rain recovery market and to educate the visitor that all
rainwater systems are not created equal.
The Approach
The website message was designed to be clear, presenting a bright
and immediately identifiable brand to the visitor and very clear
explaination about what Stormsaver does and why they are the best.
We concentrated on the user journey to define the navigation and
identity what information was required and where it should be located in
the site. This resulted in clear signposting to the most appropriate
product range - commercial or domestic - and how to progress an enquiry.
The key to an efficent user journey was to present appropriate and
clear product information and then to guide the visitor to use the
instant online rainwater system quote wizzard. This was developed by our
programming team to take the visitor quickly and easily through a
complex combination of variables eg: roof size, number of toilets
etc and then instantly present a sutiable rainwater system specification
and quote on screen and via email.
The Results
The Stormsaver website is head and shoulders above the competition.
It has an instantly recognisable brand, clear product information and
clarity of purpose. Instantly the feedback for existing customers has
been very positive and the Stormsaver team and proud to signpost people
to their website for information and instant domestic quotes.
