The Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM), founded in 1943, is a Professional Engineering Institute, a specialist Institute for the Healthcare Estates Sector.

The Challenge
IHEEM required a redesign to freshen their current website. They wanted to update their existing website to give the organisation a bigger and more modern web presence, organising a large amount of content sensibly. They also required integration with their membership software solution.
The Approach
The IHEEM website structure was planned meticulously so that the large amounts of content were arranged in logical sections. This was done via use of the SuperNav in River Content Management System and the experience of the Senior Internet team.
The core functions of the site are produced by River CMS ‘talking’ to IHEEM’s.
The Results
The completed site ticks the boxes and has a solid structure alongside interesting visuals.
One interesting feature is the events calendar, allowing users to quickly see when upcoming events take place alongside more details about the event when hovering over the date.
The website (and IHEEM’s users) benefit from integrating with the IHEEM software via the ability for members to edit their own profiles and undertake events and courses furthering their qualifications.
