The Challenge
Abbotsholme boarding school is a leading private day and boarding school in
Staffordshire, founded in 1889. It's set in 140 acres of land with its
own on-site farm as well as equestrian and many other extra-curricular activities.

The Challenge
Abbotsholme required a website that was designed to attract
prospective pupils from around the globe. The site needed to represent the
school's ethos and have all the information that pupils and parents
would need.
The Approach
The aim of the site was to visually represent the ethos and lifestyle
of the school by presenting an eye-catching pupil centred design. The
site was designed to present the user with a rich and varied look at
school life and the community atmosphere the school creates.
The Results
Ultimately, the measure of the site's success must be how many
targeted enquiries it generates. During the first month after launch,
even before the search engine optimisation strategy had full effect, the
visitor-to-enquirer ratio had tripled from the results generated by the
school's previous website.
