The Challenge
Formula 4 Leadership required a website that would be able to handle a large
amount of content which needed to be interlinked and structured, would
have room to expand and would be easy to use. The company wanted to have
as much control of their website as possible and to author regular
updates to pages, sections and news stories.
The Approach
These requirements were easily fulfilled by River CMS which was deployed to as the foundation of the website. The system allows Formula 4 Leadership to easily edit content, add news stories and case studies and quickly restucture sections using the tree stucture in the admin section. The system also allows easy placing of callouts onto pages using the drag and drop callout facility in the Layout Manager. The site was provided with 3 levels of naviagtion, allowing sections and subsections to be created so that the structure can easy cater for 100's of pages.
All editors from the company were given full content management training before site launch.
The Results
The result is a site that is content heavy. However, it is all easily digestible thanks to the excellent navigation structure that keeps all relevant pages together and allows pages to remain short so that visitors don’t lose interest. This has lead to a very high amount of time spent on the site per visit. The Formula 4 Leadership website uses a host of dynamic and static callouts that really help to bring to site to life and add further navigation options to visitors.
