Making a website usable (usability engineering) need not involve a complicated or expensive process and is largely the employment of simple, commonsense methods to ensure a satisfying visit for your site’s users. Of course, visitor satisfaction is affected by more than just how usable your site is (namely the relevance of the content your site provides and how well your service offering solves your visitors problem), but ultimately, the more usable your site is, the more likely it will be to retain loyal users.
