With a membership of Process Managers spanning the globe, BPTG needed a comprehensive content management system (CMS) to quickly feed the very latest information to their audience.

In order to consolidate their position as the world leading business process management organisation, BPTG had recruited a number of key contributors to write articles and news stories about their field of expertise. Once written and submitted, these contributions then needed to be edited before being published onto the website. And that’s exactly what this website CMS does – multiple contributors, multiple editors and a sophisticated publication process with full article history and rollback, centralised image library, related content system and publishing preview.

Search engine optimisation is automatically provided by the system too. The contributor or editor can tag each article with keywords from a centralised keyword system and write a keyword rich abstract. When published, the system then automatically creates an optimised page with an optimised url, page title, headers and content – in fact everything that’s needed to get ‘long-tail’ page 1 listings in Google and other major search engines.

The site has also got a fully featured training course booking system with e-commerce. There’s a full CMS to publish course listings with dates and venues, an intelligent automatic pricing system that allocates ‘early-bird’ booking discounts and booking cut-off dates, and full e-commerce integration with Google Checkout.
