With the success of our previous Framework website, when the major homeless charity came to us with a new brand and a need for full accessibility, we rose to the occasion. The site needed to match the new brand guidelines while improving on the clarity and friendliness of the existing site. With the integrated content management system already in place, our work was made easier by the staff and residents of Framework projects already populating the site with informative, educational content that appealed to a wide audience. Using the latest in web standards and web design, we created a site with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AAA Level accessibility on most pages. The site was optimised for the ideal browsing experience, with multiple Cascading StyleSheets (CSS), semantically organised XHTML, interactive Macromedia Flash maps and presentations (and non-Flash versions for limited browsers) and thorough extensive testing.
