e-Vol Case Study

e-Vol is a Management Information System (MIS), combining Contact Relationship Management (CRM), interaction logging, and report generating systems. e-Vol was originally conceived and developed for the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), who had been working with a number of County Voluntary Councils (CVCs). They needed a common system that would allow CVCs to easily collect and organise large amounts of data, as well as provide precise, consistent reporting for WCVA’s needs.

e-Vol is also a web-based password-protected resource, allowing staff to access records at any time and any place, needing only an Internet-connected PC. With e-Vol, organisations in the voluntary sector can organise contacts, organisations and projects, record interactions with contacts, and generate reports.

e-Vol has received considerable interest from other voluntary bodies across the UK as well as other membership-based organisations.
