e-Vol

e-Vol is a Management Information System (MIS), combining Contact Relationship Management (CRM), interaction logging, and report generating systems. The system was originally developed for the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), and is currently in daily use by 15 County Voluntary Councils (CVCs) across Wales.

The system allows the CVCs to easily collect and organise large amounts of data on their day to day activity, to link the activity with a contact, and to cross reference it with a project. This then allows the organisations to provide precise, consistent, comparable reporting on their activities to their national body and other fund holders.

e-Vol is a web-based password-protected resource, allowing staff to access records at any time and any place, needing only an Internet-connected PC.  The system is supported and hosted by Senior which minimises the hardware and software commitments within the organisations.

e-Vol has received considerable interest from other voluntary bodies across the UK as well as other membership-based organisations.
