A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator. This is varied role with plenty of scope to ‘make it your own’.
Responsibilities
- Allocating incoming payments from Bank Account, and investigating miscellaneous payments
- Sales ledger duties including setting up new clients, managing invoicing process and raising client invoices
- Purchase ledger duties including managing PO system, collating and matching supplier invoices/receipts to PO’s, inputting authorised invoices/receipts, paying suppliers regularly and processing staff expenses
- Reconciling multiple bank accounts Other accounts duties including responding to client queries, posting journals, paying PAYE promptly and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- General administration/reception duties including filing, answering and directing incoming calls, managing employee files, and ad hoc projects from Managing Director.
As our ideal candidate you must
- Be AAT qualified and/or degree educated in Business Studies or related subject (not essential)
- Have at least one years’ experience in all-round accounts administration
- Be acquainted with Sage and MS Excel.
- Be confident working under minimal supervision
- Have excellent problem solving skills
- Have a great deal of initiative, continuously looking for improvements in processes and systems
Salary
£17.5k - £20k depending on experience.
