Another month calls for another Senior
staff event – this time it was a trip to the Dog Racing.
The team headed straight from work to
the Nottingham Greyhound Stadium on the warm September evening.
The ‘special deal’ for groups gave us
a number of things for a fixed price. Included was: admission, a racecard, 2 x £1
bets, a drink and, of course not forgetting, a pie & peas – the pies being
particularly enjoyed by the lads!
Drink sipped, pie gobbled, bets placed
& it was time for the racing to begin!!!
The races were tense &
unfortunately it seemed that the Senior team weren’t nearly as good at betting
on the winning dogs as they are at designing websites, with no one walking away
with winnings.
Despite the bad luck, the team thoroughly
enjoyed the fun-filled evening!
