We’re delighted to announce that the folks here at Senior have been working hard to ensure our long-time partners at Shoreham Port have received their fresh, new updated website in the first week of 2015!
Our History
We’ve been collaborating with the folks at Shoreham Port since we designed their rebrand and marcoms strategy in 2003. The huge success of this rebrand sparked a 12 year long relationship in which we have developed all manner of marketing materials for them including stationery, Port Maps, Directories, biannual Newsletters, Intranet and Annual Reports, as well as this, the third design refresh over the last 12 years.
Their Requirements
We work regularly with Shoreham on a number of projects; producing their Annual Report as well as developing their twice yearly Portlife Newsletter and we push the creative envelope further each year to create fresh and engaging publications. Together with the Port, we decided to take the same approach with the website, aligning it more in terms of design with the offline materials.
The aim of the refresh was to neaten and streamline the content and reflect the modern and progressive approach of the Port.
Key Features
The biggest development with the refresh is the change to responsive design. It’s becoming more and more necessary for businesses to think about this switch, as it improves the user experience by enabling easy use on screens of any size or shape.
We also used new templates to incorporate staff photographs which illustrate the Port’s services. We’ve tidied and neatened content and design to achieve a clean, more up-to-date look.
Achievements
As the key channel to engage with internal and external stakeholders, it’s imperative that the site is updated daily with up-to-the-minute news stories and vital information of what’s happening in and around the Port. The site’s audience is diverse these additions mean it’s now more accessible than ever.
The fresh new look and feel reflect Shoreham Port’s ethos in embracing new technologies and confirm their commitment to quality and excellence in all areas.
