Senior scores a Webby hat-trick!

The Senior-developed website for the Institute of Practitioners of Advertising has been awarded Webby Honoree status for a 3rd year. It's an unprecedented achievement that cements our status as the leading digital agency in the membership sector - on an international stage.

The Webby Awards are described by The New York Times as the "internet's highest honour" and are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). Senior has been applauded for the IPA website, which has now been recognised as an Official Honouree in the Associations category for the third time.

Only outstanding work receives the Official Honouree distinction. Just the top 10% of the 12,000 submitted entries are awarded with the status. Recognition for the 3rd time from The Webby Awards reinforces that Senior is a consistently excellent web design specialist.

The IPA is the professional body for advertising, media and marketing communications agencies in Britain. Over 70,000 users are registered on the website from the UK’s top creative and digital agencies. Senior works extremely closely with the IPA web team, organising weekly scrums, monthly strategy and project meetings and an annual plan of activities. The website is fully mobile-optimised and boasts a huge amount of industry specialist content for both subscribers and non-subscribers. It includes knowledge hubs, CPD, events, industry awards and agency directories and galleries.

Tricia Durrant Director at Senior Internet comments that “It's exciting to receive our 3rd Webby Nominee Award – as an agency we put our hearts into ensuring our websites are as brilliant as possible. It’s an affirming feeling when your team's work is endorsed by the internet's most respected symbol of success, benchmarked against so many of our international peers. To win one Webby is most digital agencies' lifetime ambition, so to be awarded an Honoree in 2011, 2013 and again in 2014 is testament to the top class quality of our work and the successful partnership between us and the IPA.”

Senior is looking forward to the 2015 Webby Awards and hope to make it four nominations in a row!
