Senior's stellar 2014!

When it gets to this time of year it’s hard not to start looking back in review of the triumphs and accomplishments of the last 12 months. Yes we still have a small chunk of it left, but it’s time to indulge - not least because 2014 has been the best year for Senior in terms of new builds, existing progressive work with clients, recruitment, marketing and awards!

New projects

It’s no surprise that 2014 has been our busiest year yet. 2013 saw us complete a very respectable 18 web-based projects, and we’re all set to beat our record before the year is out - we are on track to complete a whopping 22 projects. These include:

-          New builds

We’ve been expanding our reach with membership organisations this year. Prior to 2014 we already had great relationships with the IPA, Newsworks, and the British Parking Association to name a few. Over the last 12 months we have started collaborations with 8 brand new organisations, and we have several projects lined up to take us into the new year too.

-          Micro sites

We’ve had the chance throughout 2014 to have fun with some very creative micro sites. This year has seen us take on many varying and diverse projects from celebrating award ceremonies to educating members on their parking to advertising iRings, and we’ve helped our clients old and new with their unique campaigns using bespoke micro sites.

-          Refreshes

We offer constant care and ongoing support at Senior. The great thing about our clients is that they’re always looking to move with the times and progress their websites as their business progresses. For this reason 2014 has seen some exciting refreshes for our clients, some of whom we’ve been collaborating with for 10 months, some, for 10 years.

New recruits

Something any keen follower of Senior will have noticed is the substantial recruitment drive Senior has embarked on over the last 12 months. In mid-October, the team head count reached 30 for the first time in Senior history, a fact we’re all really proud of. Over the past year we’ve added 3 new members to our e-days Sales team, a new graphic designer, account handler, HR and accounts manager, digital marketing executive, 2 programmers, a support technician, an apprentice developer and a researcher respectively. Each member is settling into the team with ease and brings with them an expertise and enthusiasm that is infectious. This is great news for existing and potential clients as each project is seen through the eyes of creative and ambitious individuals.

Awards

Finally, 2014 has been a year where we’ve finally begun having our hard work recognised on a larger scale. Award veterans the IPA and Newsworks have repeatedly received acclaim for their stylish and fully functional membership sites, and John Sankey- whose marketing collaboration with Senior has endured since 1996; has a new and improved website which proved to be the breakthrough of the year, winning 2 Gold awards in the 'Lifestyle' category with their newly re-launched website. You can read more about these awards here.

We’ve had a sterling year at Senior. We’re proud of the work we’ve produced and the team who made it happen and we’d like to take the opportunity to thank our clients for their ongoing partnership. We’re excited to see how far we can push the envelope next year! Watch this space.
