(The slideshow uses jquery.cycle. An excellent way to ‘cycle’ through elements quickly. It uses a custom menu for the pause and paging.

All the box sets were re-photographed by us for the new site, which meant we had high quality images to slot into pages. This makes a huge difference in ecommerce sites especially. People are much more likely to buy a product if they can see what they are getting rather than trying to figure it out from a tiny thumbnail.
To fit in with the design, all of the product boxes needed to be equal heights. To do this just using css is next to impossible when the height of the content is unknown, so a little more jquery magic was applied to calculate the height of the largest element, then set all other elements to that height.
The audio clips use a customised flowplayer to provide a simple way to listen to the record samples without intruding on the minimalist design. flowplayer.org/demos/
Despite the Coup d’Archet site being limited to a very short development cycle, using River CMS we have provided an excellent, modern solution that is a definite improvement on the old site.
