A new lease of life for the Society of Later Life Advisers

This week saw another exciting launch. We have been working with the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) for roughly a year, and are proud to say that after working closely with the team on the development of their new website and CRM, launch day has arrived!

What did they want from their new site?

SOLLA’s aim is to offer peace of mind to those looking for financial advice in later life. They are also eager to introduce new professionals into the industry by offering them a clear path to accreditation.

They were looking for a site which could reach and engage all ages and communicate what is often a complex and arduous process with care and impartiality. Therefore design and content needed to be simple and appealing, while remaining equitable and professional.

Key features

Anybody finding themselves in need of financial advice, whatever their age, need to know that they can get the best possible service from an industry professional who is qualified and experienced. One of SOLLA’s aims is to match advisers with members of the public who need their expertise, so to achieve this, we have equipped SOLLA’s new site with an advanced ‘Find an adviser’ directory. This dynamic feature is incredibly easy to use and protects the privacy of SOLLA members, while still allowing the public to find them using intuitive search functionality.

We have also equipped SOLLA with RiverCRM, software which will go on to ensure administrators spend far less time on the day-to-day ‘paperwork’ they were keen to eliminate. Now, membership renewals and information updates are streamlined and RiverCRM’s marketing capabilities will ensure open passages of communication between themselves and their members.

SOLLA’s new site also makes use of our advanced events module and, as well as their main website, we have developed two microsites for them in the form of SOLLA Care and Retirement Standard, each of which boasts clean, crisp design with friendly, contemporary content.

We know that we’ll be able to add SOLLA to our list of RiverCRM success stories; organisations who have implemented RiverCRM in the past have seen a vast increase in applications due to its streamlined application process and its flexible nature.

Already, although only a few hours old at the time of writing, SOLLA’s new site has seen its very first application!

We are sure the new site will help welcome event more financial advisors into the industry to help grant peace of mind and stability to the public.
