Their project

The Association of Costs Lawyers are a vital organisation within the Costs Lawyers industry whose aim is to usher individuals into the profession by providing them with the opportunity to train and attend courses. Their website is an integral tool with which the Association can achieve this aim.

The ACL wanted to create the ‘go-to’ place online for professionals requiring information and advice regarding legal costs, whilst promoting awareness and the importance of the costs lawyer profession. They required a new, more advanced membership management CRM system to replace the Access database it previously used.

Our Approach

We learned a lot about the ACL through numerous workshops and discussions, in which we put the association’s membership under the microscope. To make an effective and engaging membership site, it’s vital we know who we’re building for. Using RiverCMS’s form builder we developed easy and intuitive ways for specific member-types to join the organisation.

The Outcome

The site has been completely transformed; it's now fresh, modern and user-friendly while maintaining a highly sophisticated and professional air. User journeys are intuitive, and knowledge hubs like the association’s ‘news’ and ‘journals’ section are easily accessible. It’s now easier than ever to become a student in the Costs Lawyer profession..

The new ACL site has a clean, fresh design which is aimed at making the users' experience a lot easier. We've utilised the latest technologies such as a sophisticated map function, where we plot members' locations so they can quickly find an expert local to them.
