Their project

The IFE is a registered charity founded in 1918. The IFE assesses knowledge of fire and professional experience, awarding internationally recognised membership grades and fire-related qualifications. Membership or affiliation is open to all, regardless of role or geography, and is inclusive of those working in all aspects of fire safety and risk assessment.

We’ve been working with the IFE since early 2013, we produced the main website development with a key objective to strongly promote the IFE’s global network.  It was vital that the site communicates the benefits of being a member and positions the Institution as professional, determined and influential in the industry.

Our approach

We recently conducted a small refresh of some of the IFE’s key pages: homepage, Fire Risk Register (FRR) and advanced application forms. The aim of the developments was to restructure the growing homepage content to be more easily digested by visitors, enhance member benefits and increase internal efficiency of managing new applications.

The outcome

The new development was really well accepted within the industry especially the introduction of the FRR location map, which appeased a lot of members who felt the original search listing was bias. The outcome is they now have a site which is clearer, easier to navigate and more user friendly.
